Key to getting started is to check what facilities we have using the resources on these pages and to contact the designated point of contact at the facility. They can check that your understanding of the capabilities is correct and a good match for what you want to do. Once you’ve decided to submit a proposal, get the template from this page, edit, and submit it through the submission portal!

No, additional funds are not available for implementing new capabilities. Any modifications needed to realize a particular user experiment must be accommodated within the facility's existing budget.

Before submission, you must have a conversation with the point of contact at your primary-choice facility to verify the technical feasibility of your proposal. Additionally, your home institution may require an internal review, so please check with the appropriate office there.
